In 1968, three Presentation Brothers arrived in Lima, Peru in South America.

Brother Ted Murphy, one of the three pioneers, and three other Irish Brothers, Mike McGrath, Denis Sheahan and Jimmy Curley, now form the Lima community.

Fe y Alegria No.5, Chacarilla de Otero, is a secondary school with an enrollment of about 1400 pupils.

The college was established in Ica St. in 1965 by the Movement of Popular, Integral Education, Fe y Alegria of Peru.
