The first community in Ghana was established in 1968 by two Brothers from Canada and another from Ireland.

Fourteen Brothers, eight of whom are from Ghana, now work in the schools in Bolgatanga, Kongo/Logre and Navrongo, at the edge of the Sahara Desert.
